With over 15 years of horticulture experience, Peter has been a vital part of the City of Sydney team for the past 8 years, where he is currently the Parks Contract Manager. Peter’s journey with City of Sydney has helped him to gather a vast range of experience, from bush regeneration and Urban Ecology Coordination, before moving into the parks space, where he has held numerous roles managing and coordinating the contracted service delivery and the City’s park assets, as well as auditing and inspecting the parks themselves. Peter now leads the procurement and contract management functions of City of Sydney, providing strategic procurement leadership across the Parks Contract team. He is particularly passionate about identifying, developing and implementing business improvements, procedures, work systems, quality controls and the goals of his team, in order to streamline activities and improve business efficiencies.

Cameron was appointed Chief Executive of Recreational Services, New Zealand’s largest and most diverse parks, grounds and facility management organisations, late in 2009 and brings skills and experience gained from over 30 years within the parks industry. 20 years of those years were in the Auckland City Council. Cameron provides key insights into local government operations, and he adds strength in technical, management and visionary skills to the executive team. All of these factors are critical as he strives to build on the strong culture that makes Recreational Services the company it is, while strengthening relationships and networks within the wider industry.

Carla Reinke

Carla is the lead marketing representative for Recreational Services along with two additional brands under the Recreational Services umbrella, namely SSDM and By Nature. Recreational Services' key marketing focuses are on brand awareness, increasing their profile and growing and retaining customer relationships. The marketing plan, budget and supporting activities are executed with the support of Marketing & Communications Administrator Alice Cheesman. Carla is the lead representative for their partnership with the New Zealand Blue Light Foundation and all organisational sponsorship initiatives.
Carla and Alice are also responsible for all tender submissions and tailor solutions to their customers' needs by adding their own unique flair. They love storytelling the great work their teams do, and the value Recreational Services adds to their local communities across the magnificent Aotearoa landscape.
