INDUSTRY TALK

Best Practice Collaboration for Landscape Maintenance Contracts and Tendering

Date: Wednesday 27 April
Time: 11.00am (AEST) ONLINE

In preparation for our pre-Conference Industry Forum in Gladstone, we will be hosting an online industry talk about maintenance contracts and tendering, specifically the challenges with and benefits of collaboration.

Join our host Chris Boulton (PLA QLD Executive Officer) to hear from our panel about their perspectives on key questions about best practice collaboration for landscape maintenance and tendering, including:

  • What does best practice collaboration look like?
  • Why does collaboration help?
  • Who is leading the way with collaboration?
  • Where is it being done well?
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about this topic, to hear our panel's thoughts on issues that may be challenging your service delivery.

    Outline

To help answer our questions, we have assembled an panel of industry experts from Australia and New Zealand, involved day-to-day with providing landscape maintenance services for our urban greenspaces.

The format of our Industry Talk will centre around a Q&A session, where our host will seek perspectives from our panel, and pitch questions from our registered participants.

So don't miss your chance to join in with your questions and seek fresh perspectives from our panel to help find solutions to your challenges with landscape maintenance contracts and tendering.

    Where to Next?

The outcomes of this Industry Talk will be followed-up with our next Industry Forum in Gladstone on 17 May 2022 as a pre-curser to our PLA QLD 2022 Regional Conference.

From Pre-Tender to Contract Delivery, our Industry Forum will examine how and when collaboration can help to reduce the gap between expectations and deliverables.

Supported by a presentation of case studies from Australia and New Zealand, participants will be encouraged through a facilitated workshop, to identify and share their experiences, challenges, and opportunities for achieving better collaboration.
