Discover how a new Bayside playspace is establishing equality in outdoor recreation with the re-imaging of Thomas Street Reserve in Hampton Victoria

An inclusive approach to public planning that expands beyond traditional playspace boundaries, was the vision of the Bayside City Council (VIC) and the mission of Ric McConaghy and Lark Industries when designing and delivering a space that welcomes and encourages an entire community.

This virtual case study will inform about the planning process, designing for inclusivity, product creation and equipment selection and insights into the community outcomes and feedback.

Hear from Andrew Shannon, the Inclusion Officer at Bayside City Council, designer Ric McConaghy and Michelle Herbut from Lark Industries.

Moderated by: PLA NSW/ACT

There will be time set aside for a Q&A session also.
