Operational Playground Inspection Course - AHCPGD305 Conduct operational inspection of park facilities.
This 2-day course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct operational inspection of parks, recreational facilities and playgrounds to identify hazards, existing and potential risks, non-conformities with Australian Standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Who should attend?
Individuals responsible for operational inspection of park, recreational facilities and playgrounds. This may include playground owners/operators; asset managers; supervisory, technical and maintenance personnel; risk assessors; safety officers; auditors; equipment manufacturers and installers; landscape architects and designers; property developers; teachers and educators. Entry Requirements This course requires the satisfactory completion of oral, practical demonstration and written tasks. There are no specific entry requirements for AHCPGD305 Conduct operational inspection of park facilities, however a general command of spoken and written English, as well as the ability to write a simple report is required.
Duration Two Days - 9am to 4.30pm* plus post course assessment task. *Start & Finish times may vary and will be confirmed in course confirmation letters emailed prior to commencement.
On achieving competency, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for the Unit of Competency AHCPGD305 Conduct operational inspection of park facilities.
