Where is Your Wild?

Outdoor experiences and nature tourism are becoming increasingly popular for urbanites and those looking for adventure and physical activity. With the mental and physical health benefits of being outdoors being clearly documented, there is mounting pressure on the providers, landowners and land managers to ensure safety and best practice is exceeded.

PLA NSW/ACT and Outdoor NSW invite you to attend a one day a seminar and workshop to discuss the challenges and opportunities in this industry. The day will include presentations on adventure activity standards, along with case study examples from both local government and provider perspectives.

Who should attend:

  • Local Government Land Owners and Managers
  • National Parks and Wildlife Personnel
  • Outdoor education/recreation and nature tourism providers.
  • Outdoor providers utilising public land to complete their outdoor pursuits e.g. local council land, National Parks and waterways.
  • Sole traders, small businesses, larger outdoor providers and active recreation organisations/ clubs.
  • The person who manages the land use permits in organisations.
