This panel discussion event was part of the NGV Melbourne Design Week 2021. It was hosted by 106 Architects and explored the impact Third Place design thinking has on the future of our built environment, including community sports infrastructure.

Featuring industry experts in urban planning, sport and landscape architecture as well as a globally recognised strategic leader and influencer, Transforming Everyday Public Spaces Into Thriving Third Places explores redefining social culture by injecting familiarity and intimacy of human connection into everyday public spaces.

The event was supported by the 2019 Greg Maddock Memorial Grant which was awarded to Dion Gosling from 106 Architects. This grant is awarded annually to a member to improve and expand their knowledge, and deliver best practice services to our communities.
