A huge congratulations to a very special person who has supported Parks and Leisure Australia for many years. Kevin Lowe, Campbelltown City Council (SA) was announced as the 2018 Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award winner. Kevin was joined on stage by previous winners (from the left) John Senior 1999, Cathy Kiss 2014, Andy Smith 2015, Peter Nicholls 2003, Sally Jeavons 2009, Stephen Bourke 2008 and Mike King 1990. The evening was proudly sponsored by GLG GreenLife Group.

Congratulations Georgie Beeforth, City of Greater Geelong on winning the David Aldous Student of the Year Award. Georgie completed her internship with the City of Greater Geelong in 2017 working on two preventative health projects. Effectively coordinating a workplace health program & Walk to School. Georgie optimises the use of spaces and places to get more people moving. This award is proudly sponsored by Mardent Consulting.
