Parks & Leisure Australia SA/NT has established an Open Space Planners Network that meets 3 times a year to discuss (Recreation and) Open Space planning related issues, ideas, future opportunities and potential directions.

Leisure Facilities Network - WA
The WA Leisure Facilities Network was developed to identify key priorities, issues and opportunities for facility managers in Western Australia.
Leisure Planners Network - WA
The WA Leisure Planners Network is aimed at those involved in the planning, development, provision and use of community leisure infrastructure and public open space in both regional and metro areas.
Parks and Streetscape Network - WA
The Parks and Streetscape Network was established from the need to articulate/facilitate sustainability elements for parks and gardens and to establish best practice knowledge in the field of park and streetscape management.
Events Network - WA
The Events network is aimed at local government, community, club (sport and recreation) & commercial event management staff as well as event holders looking to undertake event planning and delivery.
Leisure Fitness Network - WA
The Leisure Fitness Network focuses on Health, Wellness and Fitness topics as well as Memberships and Business Solutions. The Network is an opportunity for industry representatives to come together to discuss wins, challenges and ideas.
Metropolitan Area Recreation Advisory Group (MARAG) - WA
MARAG is comprised of sport and recreation employees from local government authorities situated in the Perth metropolitan area; and associated representatives from the Department of Local Government, Sport & Cultural Industries; Parks and Leisure Australia (WA Branch); Western Australia Local Government Association; Western Australian Sports Federation; and the university sector.

Open Space Planners Network (Vic/Tas)
The Open Space Planners Network (OSPN) has been established to:
- provide open space planners and other allied professionals with access to a network of like-minded people.
- share resources, information and experiences relating to open space planning and provision.
- advocate on issues impacting open space planning and provision, and other sector issues.
- provide opportunities for professional development forums related to open space planning matters.
The Melbourne Park Managers Forum (Vic/Tas)
The Melbourne Park Managers Forum (MPMF) is an informal group of park managers and senior management staff from Melbourne Metropolitan LGAs. The Network aims to meet a minimum twice per year at events hosted by a council parks department to discuss issues and share ideas relating to parks planning, management and operations. Membership excludes non-council staff, such as representatives from industry suppliers and consultants.
