Membership
We work towards developing and supporting the Parks & Leisure sector by providing a wide array of member benefits
New memberships
Parks and Leisure Australia will charge a pro rata rate calculated from the date of joining to the 1st of July. Fees are due 30 days from the date of invoice.
Membership renewals
An invoice will be sent to you prior to your membership renewal date which is payable with 30 day payment terms.
If a member does not pay their membership fees within the 30 day period, they will cease to be a PLA member. If any membership benefits have been accessed during the period between joining and when the membership is cancelled, then an invoice will be issued to cover the cost of these benefits.
If you require a Purchase Order for your invoice it will need to be provided at least 14 days prior to issuing of renewal invoice.
Parks and Leisure Australia can add a Purchase Order to your invoice after it has been issued, however the date of the invoice will not be amended to suit the Purchase Order date.
Our Membership period runs for twelve (12) months, from the 1st of July to the 30th of June each year. Membership is for one (1) year or in the case of new memberships until 1st July and then renewed annually. All membership fees must be paid in advance.
New memberships will be activated once you have paid your invoice. If you would like to receive benefits immediately at the time of joining, you will be required to pay by credit card upon registration of your membership.
For existing members, your membership will continue to remain active at the time renewal. However, if your membership is not paid within the payment terms your membership may be deactivated until payment is received.
A representative of the Membership is required to indicate their acceptance of all terms and conditions of membership. New applications and renewals will not be processed until confirmation is received.
Upon expiration your membership will automatically renew without further notice. An invoice will be sent to the billing email provided, prior to the expiration date.
In the event that you do not wish to renew Parks and Leisure Australia National Office must be contacted prior to the renewal date, to be advised of your intention not to renew.
You may within 30 days following the date of renewal, contact the membership officer at membership@parksleisure.com.au to cancel your membership.
Failure to communicate your intention not to renew may incur charges.
There is no refund of any membership fees should you cancel your membership at any stage during your membership term.
