We at Greenlife Group (GLG) are searching for qualified and enthusiastic Groundspersons and Gardeners to join our expanding South Australian operations team.

Who are we?

What you'll do in this role:

  • With your skills and experience, you will undertake general grounds and property maintenance duties to maintain a visually pleasing and inviting space for local communities to enjoy, ensuring the expected standard of work is maintained at all times;
  • Your duties include, but are not limited to: mowing, edging, snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, roof gutter cleaning, sweeping, litter collection, cleaning, chemical application and/or any other gardening, property or turf related tasks associated with grounds maintenance; 
  • You will have a hands on approach and be flexible to juggle numerous tasks and competing priorities, whilst also enthusiastically engaging with the local community;
  • You will ensure the safe operation and transportation of vehicle, plant and/or equipment at all times, including performing routine checks.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualifications - a Certificate in Horticulture or Turf (advantageous);
  • Accreditations - a current manual driver's licence (MR or HR advantageous); Traffic Management level 2 and First Aid Certificate (advantageous); Chemical application licence (advantageous); Construction Induction Safety Cert (White Card); Working at Heights Certification;
  • Experience - 2+ years' experience in landscape maintenance, including associated plant and equipment such as tractors, zero turn or wide area mowers; or 2+ years in property maintenance and roof gutter cleaning;
  • Passion - we are seeking the person who can truly deliver the results, not necessarily the person who has the best skills on paper;
  • Understanding - evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered, proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia and of course a Valid National Police Check;
  • Alignment - to our values and behaviours.
