Catering for residents and visitors, East Gippsland Shire Council is a major employer across the region, meeting the needs of over 47,000 residents and over one million visitors.
Position overview
East Gippsland Shire Council is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Social and Community Planning Coordinator to managing ongoing, and lead the development of, community and social plans. This full time, ongoing position will assist to deliver social, health and wellbeing outcomes for current and developing community needs, and make a difference in East Gippsland Shire communities.
The successful individual will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to provide advice and information on community, social, health and wellbeing strategies, plans and policies.
Knowledge of East Gippsland communities and townships, and their needs would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a current Police Check and psychometric testing, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Applicants for this position must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
