What are we looking for?

Ideally someone with a couple of years local government experience and planning/urban design education/trail or project management.  You are someone proactively interested and competent in as many of these skill areas as possible:

• Landscape architecture - particularly interested in strategy development, research and site assesments, but also with some nifty artistic skills to articulate ideas through innovative site plans.
• Graphic design/desktop publishing - including creating infographics, maps and documents in InDesign, Canva or other awesome software.
• Writing - technical and public facing communication including proposals, plans, strategies, reports, webpage updates, social media posts and more.
• Administration - spreadsheets, document editing, updating and creating new systems where required.
• Parks and recreation knowledge - understanding of what makes great parks, trails, and recreation amenities that lead to healthy, active communities.
• Project management - drive and manage the delivery of projects in the prescribed time, budget and quality standards.
• Communication - liaising with clients, manage internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on projects.

We'll provide excellent leadership and coaching with the ability for you to grow into an area of expertise over time.

How do flexible hours sound to you?  Working from home?  In recent summers we have worked 4-day weeks with 5 days' pay!
