•  Negotiable Package starting at $123,463 per annum

About the role:

• Plays a critical role in the management and development of a diverse range of leisure, sporting and community service opportunities for patrons of the Geographe Leisure Centre (GLC) and Naturaliste Community Centre (NCC).
• Ensures the GLC and NCC operate in a cost effective manner and within the parameters of the annual budget as adopted by Council.
• Ensures the public image of the facilities are maintained and the delivery of extraordinary customer service by all staff while ensuring high standards of public safety are upheld.

• Experienced leader in a Leisure management role

To be considered for this role you must address, in no more than three A4 pages, the following essential selection criteria:

• Demonstrated experience and understanding of contemporary Leisure Centre management practices and issues including the principles and processes associated with service reviews, continual improvement, business excellence and project management.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales, retention and marketing strategies and associated plans and budgets.
• High level written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
• Proven effective leadership skills
• Experience in the management of external contractors and consultants

Successful applicants must also hold a current valid ‘C’ Class Western Australian Driver’s License.
