We are seeking an experienced Horticulturist to join our Craigieburn Depot, assisting with our grounds and gardens contracts.

Reporting to the Contract Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are delivered through a high standard of service, by safe and effective management practices, whilst meeting all the required UMS and clients QA and OHSE compliance and best practices.

To be successful you will have:

  • Proven experience working as a Horticulturist
  • Completed a Cert III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture or Higher
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience leading and managing diverse teams/ subcontractors
  • Experience interpreting and deciphering work plans, specifications
  • Experience preparing "scopes of work" and quotations
  • Ability to lead by example and providing hands-on work
  • IT skills: Access, Word, and Excel and the proven ability to learn other software/database systems
  • Good organisational, scheduling, efficient rostering, and planning skills - ensuring work delivery
  • Able and willing to prepare/conduct meetings with fellow employees and clients
  • Current manual Drivers Licence
