We at Greenlife Group (GLG) are searching for you - the professional and passionate Operational Supervisor to join our South Australian operations team. You will have a strong desire to contribute to the community and excel with the responsibility of leading a team to develop horticultural assets and property infrastructure, so they can be shared and enjoyed by members of our retirement living lifestyle communities.

Who are we?

What you'll do in this role:

  • Through your skills and experience in contract supervision, you will lead from the front and train and inspire your teams to make horticultural assets and property infrastructure visually pleasing, peaceful and inviting;
  • With your vast understanding of the regulations, requirements, and issues affecting retirement living lifestyle communities, along with a hands on understanding of residential facilities and their unique grounds and building maintenance works and procedures, you will coordinate and direct your teams across numerous sites, while ensuring they remain flexible enough to juggle numerous tasks and competing priorities;
  • With your confidence, you will liaise and coordinate with your line manager, the client and community in delivering the best maintained lawns, gardens and facilities that will be the envy of other communities.

What we're looking for:

  1. Qualifications - you will have a Diploma in Horticulture or equivalent;
  2. Experience - you will have around 3+ years in the role as a grounds supervisor or junior manager, leading teams over numerous residential living sites;
  3. Innovation - we would like an innovator to bring in new ideas and implement, administrate and maintain current systems to ensure success in the contract administration. Competency in Microsoft Office/Excel/Word and sound computer literacy skills are advantageous;
  4. Passion - we are seeking the person who can truly deliver the results, not necessarily the person who has the best skills on paper;
  5. Understanding - evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered, proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia, and of course a Valid National Police Check;
  6. Alignment - to our values and behaviours.
