BARC Aquatic Operations Team Leader

Position overview

Applications are now open for the full time BARC Aquatic Operations Team Leader position. You will be a part of working towards providing a fantastic experience for visitors to our centres and ensuring processes are in place for our employees and visitors to remain safe and enjoy their time in our aquatic areas. This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations at the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre and Bairnsdale Outdoor Pool and leading the Lifeguard teams.

What we require from you: 

  • Demonstrate significant experience in aquatic industry.
  • Extensive operations experience, at both indoor and outdoor pools.
  • Ability to liaise with all staff, customers and suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to make judgement calls on the proper and safe use of chemicals.
  • Demonstrate significant understanding of strong customer focus.
  • Commitment to improving and growing the centre.
  • A current, valid Victorian driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a current Police Check, Pre Employment Medical Check, Employee Working with Children Check, be fully vaccinated against Covid 19. Applicants for this position must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
