February Newsletter

As we are in the full flow of summer, I am encouraged to see Australia moving forward with activities and events which keep our communities connected. Our industry plays a vital role in this and I applaud our parks and leisure professionals in all they do.

Here at National office, we are busily working behind the scenes in preparation of our National Conference launch next month. If you have not already done so, I ask you to hold the date of 12-15 September 2021 when this year's conference will be at the Sydney Olympic Park.

Also, as nominations have now opened for the Awards of Excellence, make sure you start thinking about which project or individual you are going to enter, and you might also nominate your park and/or open space for an International Green Flag Award.

Stay safe and happy reading.

Mark Band, CEO
