AUGUST E-News

Dear

This month we welcome the new Generate Network Committee. The Network is PLA's commitment to developing young professionals and emerging leaders.  Sponsored by Otium Planning Group, the new committee includes representatives from each of PLA's five regions and represents our industry including; government, consultants, engineers, leisure managers, and peak bodies.  I sincerely thank Kristin Davies for her hard work in establishing the committee and I can't wait to see what our future leaders have in store for our members.

Also this month we welcome Sport Australia's CEO, Kate Palmer who will be joining us at PLA2019 and sharing her vision for community sport in Australia.  We are working on a formal partnership with SPORTAUS to be announced at the conference.

For those in the southern states, rug up and stay warm, if you are in the north I hope you are enjoying the sunshine.

Mark Band, CEO
